In celebration of National Canadian Film Day, please join us on April 19 for a free program of new short works created by members of the Winnipeg Indigenous Filmmakers Collective, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
The Winnipeg Indigenous Filmmakers Collective presents new works showcasing films of various formats and genres. This program celebrates new cinematic works reflecting the diaspora of identity, culture, and image. Through documentaries, narratives, and music we will explore stories of love, family, home, and hard truths. Sound and image blend together to reflect the important message of coming together and sharing stories.
